Development of Tropical Livestock Production Systems for Resilience and Sustainability

The 6th ICESAI and the 6th APIS are held concurrently as a synergistic collaboration between two scientific forums that share a common focus on the development of sustainable livestock systems. ICESAI (International Conference on Environmentally Sustainable Animal Industry) emphasizes environmental sustainability in the livestock industry, while APIS (Animal Production International Seminar) focuses on aspects of animal production, including genetics, nutrition, health, and management. The joint organization of these two conferences aims to strengthen scientific collaboration, broaden the scope of interdisciplinary discussions, and provide a comprehensive platform for academics, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, and build strategic networks to support the advancement of resilient and sustainable tropical livestock systems.

The reviews were double-blind. Each submission was examined by at least 2 reviewers independently. The submissions were first screened for generic quality and suitableness. After the initial screening, they were sent for peer review by matching each paper’s topic with the reviewers’ expertise, taking into account any competing interests. A paper could only be considered for acceptance if it had received favorable recommendations from the two reviewers. Authors of a rejected submission were given the opportunity to revise and resubmit after addressing the reviewers’ comments. The acceptance or rejection of a revised paper was final.

  2. Clear demonstration of originality, novelty, and timeliness of the research;
  3. Soundness of the methods, analyses, and results;
  4. Adherence to the ethical standards and codes of conduct relevant to the research field;
  5. Clarity, cohesion, and accuracy in language and other modes of expression, including figures and tables.

In addition, all of the articles will be checked using Turnitin for textual overlap in an effort to detect possible signs of plagiarism. The maximum similarity rate allowed is 25 percent.
