Editorial Policy

PAPER GUIDELINES

  1. A maximum of two papers per author is accepted.
  2. At least one author should present the paper in the conference.
  3. The topic of paper must fit to the scope of the conference.
  4. The submitted paper must be original research or literature review.
  5. Following the ethical conduct is critical, any act of plagiarism cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit a plagiarism, the submission will be dismissed.
  6. The paper must strictly adhere to the provided template, any deviation will result in rejection.
  7. The paper should be written with a minimum of 4 pages and no maximum limit on paper page counts.
  8. Paper content is recommended to be consisted of the following parts: Original Research: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (if any), and References. Literature Review: Introduction, Main Body, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (if any), and References.
  9. Make sure that all figures have a good resolution, at least in a 300 DPI.
  10. Please proofread your paper before submission to eliminate spelling and grammatical errors. Authors may use proofreading service for final checking the paper.

Review Procedure

The reviews were double-blind. Each submission was examined by at least 2 reviewers independently. The submissions were first screened for generic quality and suitableness. After the initial screening, they were sent for peer review by matching each paper’s topic with the reviewers’ expertise, taking into account any competing interests. A paper could only be considered for acceptance if it had received favorable recommendations from the two reviewers. Authors of a rejected submission were given the opportunity to revise and resubmit after addressing the reviewers’ comments. The acceptance or rejection of a revised paper was final.

Quality Criteria

Reviewers were instructed to assess the quality of submissions solely based on the academic merit of their content along the following dimensions:

  1. Pertinence of the article’s content to the scope and themes of the conference;
  2. Clear demonstration of originality, novelty, and timeliness of the research;
  3. Soundness of the methods, analyses, and results;
  4. Adherence to the ethical standards and codes of conduct relevant to the research field;
  5. Clarity, cohesion, and accuracy in language and other modes of expression, including figures and tables.

In addition, all of the articles will be checked using Turnitin for textual overlap in an effort to detect possible signs of plagiarism. The maximum similarity rate allowed is 25 percent.
